Matilda is a hand blocked, spectacular, straw top hat that deserves somebody who is as unique as she is. She has been made in two separate parts - using an old school millinery technique of making a hat and a brim. She has been finished off with yellow Petersham ribbon around the rim of the brim. She also has a two toned pink and yellow Petersham ribbon around the outside of the crown. I have handmade all of the 5 dusty pink feather flowers using vintage stamens. I popped a little bit of netting around the back of the top hat for additional height and depth to perfectly finish Matilda off. On the inside, I have lined Matilda with a pink vintage hat liner and Petersham for comfort when wearing her.
